Our Cousin Came by to Visit Us...

Hi there, our cousin Cpl Andrew  returned from Afghanistan little while ago and he came by to visit us last Saturday. With so much going on with current events, we were stoked to see him. While my Dad was making margaritas, pouring Tecates and I was grill'n away, his visit reminded us of just how kick'n our young Americans are; friends and moral war fighters. Let me put it this way... While he was oversees, Andrew and I emailed each other back and forth. It was good to see how he was doing. There were times I would happily stay up past 1 am, so that I could pass some jokes and ask him about his tour. I got to know Andrew a little better... he's a tough, thoughtful, and a humble individual. You know... a MAN. Before his deployment, it was really something for Candice and I to see our "SoCal/Hurley" cousin(s) look at us with sincere faces that told, "Alright..See you later...I am going to fight for us." So was his return visit cool? Hell ya! The drinks and the food tasted a little better last Saturday. Saludos amigos...Cheers!

Homecoming! Our Cousin Lcpl Audrey Sanford

Here are photos from our marine cousin's homecoming. (A video will be added later.) Audrey was out fighting for or liberty on a M.E.U. It is a mission on a ship which loads and supplies our troop with armory, AKA guns, ammo and bombs. We had a wonderful time at her homecoming.

God Bless our American warriors!

Good Friday: Care Packs Sent Out to Cpl Sanford

As an American, I would like to wish you all a Good Friday and a blessed Easter weekend. Along with that message, there is more good news on the home front.

They are!

  • Our fellow patriot Sean G. is now a Dad to a beautiful little girl!

  • Our marine cousin LCpl Audrey is returning home from her deployment (out at sea) in a couple of weeks!

  • Our other marine cousin Cpl Andrew (brother to Audrey) has got 40 days to go in Afghanistan! And he has given me a sense that the jihadists there are becoming well acquainted with USMC's skilled trade. If you know what I mean...

Care Packs: We realized that Andrew has about 40 more days to go in Afghanistan so we thought...Care Pack Time! The kids and us had a great time running around Wal-Mart and setting up a custom pack for him.

A special thanks goes out to Rod from Cigar Pass for continuing to provide such a kick'n selection of cigars. Rod is a patriot because he has never met our cousins, but continues to offer great smokes for our soldiers to enjoy. Thank you Rod.

Pack 1: A mix of good stuff

Pack 2:

Special thanks goes out to my Dad for donating 2 jumbo bags of fine Colombian and Guatemalan coffee. I know that Andrew's platoon is going to love these varietals. They are one of the best coffee countries my Dad carries.
